people are missing the point...he's saying that if they don't want to do anything to get him help they he would like to leave but that doesn't mean he WANTS to leave. know what i mean?
kobe saying all this, in the end, was a good thing! everyone trained hard and got their stuff together.... 2 years later they are the champs.

kobe got his 4th ring with au..but with some other key players having their contracts ending..the lakers need someone else that will not only keep kobe happy..but will keep the team winning..they now have that with ron artest. ron will man up the defense...and kobe will be kobe on the offense.

Everybody complains about Kobe being a "whiner" for all the fuss he made about leaving and whatnot, but look what it got him: Pau Gasol.
Regardless of how you look at things, Kobe is an intelligent person on and off the court, and obviously his non-stop barking at management worked; his team is once again a championship contender.

Next year, it's Dwayne Wade's turn to pull this trick. His contract is up in 2010/2011.
