I was there. I just got out of the militasry and my brothers rushed me from OKC to Colorado. Loved it then, kind of brings a tear to the eye thinking about Tommy's awesome talent and where he would be placed among the Eddie VanHalens, Eric Claptons, Randy Rhodes and many others.
No wonder why Billy Cobham wanted Tommy Bolin playing guitar on his record Spectrum. There one can find some absolutely awesome and timeless musical stuff. Interesting info about this vid is that Mark Stein playing key. Mr Stein formed together with Carmine Appice (drums) and Tim Bogert (bass) the band Vanilla Fudge. When they broke up in the beginning of 1970 he went on and made a record named Boomerang as the band, and that one too has some really earcandy to listen to - check it out!
FANTASTIC, except for the birdbrains walking in front of Tommy while he is playing...also walking around in back of drummer Johnny....totally unprofessional and sad to see cause Tommy was the warm up band....other than that iys great however more respect for THE GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER THAT EVER LIVED...besides Jimi Hendrix.
