I filmed this at the science and physics phenomenta exhibition in Flendsburg, Germany and used this material for my video. The first part of the video includes the composition 'X-Mas Values' by Frank Zappa from his album 'Civilization Part 3'. The second part features the beginning of 'N-Lite'. An eclectic composition and the perfect mixture of modern classical composition and computer animated music.

  • Nice to know there are so many serious/random Zappa fans out there.

    "In The Navy"!

  • Terrific music. I have just bought the album, Civilization Phaze III. It's great! The things Zappa could do with that Synclavier are amazing. Listen to all those time shifts and tempo variations. It's very difficult to get these programmed right in the computer. Especially in those days. Nice work!

  • Brilliant!

  • @whatever803 I think he was precisely trying to demonstrate a clown can definitely be a genius

  • Reminds me of Morricone's soundtrack for Pasolini's Teorema. Zappa forever.

  • @analyzingfunny If she has, I find that really sad. Civilization Phase 111 seems to be the only one that they don't issue in their catalogue. If they couldn't make any money from it, what has the Zappa family trust got to lose. To me this was Z's Magnus Opus. If someone likes this enough they'll want to buy it - then they'll be in for a real treat such as the 20 minute long 'Beat the Reaper'.

  • @unbeatableenergy N-Lite, more of a physics thing.

  • ***This music removed due to a copyright claim by Gail Zappa*** (even though he is obviously not making any money form this).

  • Frank Zappa, a genius pretending to be a clown

  • N-Lite is truly brilliant. Brilliant and terrifying at the same time!!!

  • Great video. Good job. I love this album.
