  • Yes it is. More precisely, modeled after  the uniform of the French"Dragoons" Regiments of the 19th century.

  • i'm not against them copying other countries military uniform but especially the kings guards should be wearing the traditional warrior uniform wielding two krabi krabong each forged by the direct descendants of ancient blacksmiths. and the king should be wearing the traditional king's warrior uniform also.

  • @pacha75005 - the uniform has been changed much over the years. Have you seen Long Lance Siamese "dragoons" in late 1800's? There are pictures of that somewhere ......... uniform looks almost the same then!

  • This uniform is modeled after French Cavalry, no?
