Korea Sparkling(Jeongdongjin)

There are three places for swimming in the sea. They are the sea in front of Jeongdongjin Station, the sea in front of Sand Clock Park, and the sea near Jeongdongjin Breakwater.
The wide and convenient places are the sea in front of Jeongdongjin Station and the sea in front of Sand Clock Park.
Sand Clock Park light up the street night and day. It is a famous sightseeing place that has Sunrise Park and Heonhwa Street in the south.
It has a small-scale railroad station nearest to the sea in the world. The sun rising magnificently from the blue waves of the East Sea gives the visitors greeting the sun a great impression.
Mt. Goseong was named after the fact that the mountain rising high in the middle of village had came from Goseong. Goseong collected tax every year. The wise child genius of the village prevented them from collecting tax, thereafter.
An octagonal bower on the mountain peak was built in late June of 1999 and named as Yeonginjeong. From here visitors can see the sunrise easily.
