The logic of the gentleman opposing yoga is faulty. By his logic celebrating Christmas in December and Easter in the Spring is unholy. Both holidays (the time of year they are celebrated and many traditions) come from pagan celebrations. If an issue is not specifically addressed in scripture, an individual must pray and seek wisdom on the subject, and the answer received from God on any given topic may be for the seeker alone. What is sin for me my not be sin for you in some cases.

While Paul was on the roof in prayer and hungry- a sheet was lowered down from heaven and Paul was so addamit about not eating what he called "unclean" that he refused it 3 times. God explained to him that He will make Holy what He so chooses. The body and moving it in streches and poses in not an unholy thing. The enemy takes what is good and wonderful and defiles it. We as Holy Spirit filled Christians make Yoga holy by bringing in the Holy. By bringing in God.

I think it's time for an update. My comment while heartedly with this ministry is over a year old. I no longer do yoga movements regularly in order to move. Oh not because if religious convictions (i dont have those because I am not religious) but because God had used the yoga movements, a chiropractor, & medication to free the pain in my back. Shocked yet? Let God out of the box and let Him do His thing in your life. The responsibility and blessings in my life speak of the Lord's approval.

@ fdparis21 - Let he or she that is without sin cast the first stone. It's no wonder the majority of the world is turned off to Christianity. Such hateful, self righteous judgment! The greatest commandment we are given is to love the Lord our God, the second is to love eachother. Even if what you speak is truth, WHERE IS THE LOVE? So some people obviously disagree...speak with love. The truth with love is powerful! witout love you are a clanging bell.

@boan000 That is true. She is yoked to Yoga and not to Christ. I lived a third of my life in the far east. Let me tell you, there is nothing Holy about any of their religious practices over there. They are all profane. Yoga being one of the worst. Any Christian practicing Yoga is commiting spiritual adultery because all the postures are named after hindu deities and when you put yourself in them you are using your body to worship them. This woman is defending Yoga and needs to repent.

@literaryladyccf Now you're speaking of relativity. Let me tell you this. God does not want His believers using profane yoga to worship Him. He detests it. It's an abomination to Him whether you do it or I do it. Sin is sin no matter who commits it. I am a true believer and I tell you this much, I don't do christmas nor christmas trees. The catholics brought those sinister things in. Using that to deflect attention from the argument still doesn't negate the fact that Yoga is demonic.
