  • I could see and feel Ives marching along to this.So much better thanI expected.A real composer here and some certain ideas about wht he is doing. So much variety and good motivic handling.all in alll a fine work..Willdef come back to see wht else this fine composer is capable of.FINE STUFF!!!

  • @lovesGenet ~ Thank-you! I'm glad you enjoyed the piece. 8-)

  • Around 4' I am thinking, "Man, if Stravinsky had had access to quarter-tones." I'm glad YOU do.

  • @SFChristo ~ I'm glad I've decided to work with them. Damn the torpedoes of musically spoon-fed public opinion... full speed ahead! XD

  • Wonderful job.

    Two questions:

1.) What software did you use to arrange the music?

2.) What software did you use to create the 3-D orb-ish visuals?

  • @flyingemu27 ~ Thank-you. I used MOTU Digital Performer w/Symphonic Instrument & Apple FinalCut with G-Force Visualizer.

  • Wondeful music. We loved it (ages 11 and 54).

  • @pSAurOnq It's likely he could have Clarinet 1 in tune and Clarinet 2 in quarter-tonal and give them separate lines, or it could be possible that the right adjustment to have some in standard tuning and some quarter-tonal. Hypothetically, that's my thoughts.

But there is also the part about this piece being written with software, which adds a whole nother level to it.

  • @AndrewTheMexican Yes but then the clarinet can only play "normal" notes or only microtonal notes, note both at the same time ?

  • @pSAurOnq The same way you tune a flute or clarinet: by lengthening or shortening the overall length of it (by screwing/shifting the mouthpiece)

  • Reminds me of Symphony of the night.

  • mind blowing out of this world shit right here

  • @scaleshort Do you not think that THIS is castrated in a way too? What about the eighth tones, and all of the others?

  • Hey could i get a link of where to get the software used for this please :)
