@octchung I agree in toto. The Japanese military's atrocities against civilians are worse in scale and savagery than even the Nazis (watch the Rape of Nanking on YouTube for a start). And the Japanese civilians were not innocent victims of the atomic bombings - they were fully behind their military as captured newsreels show. The Japs fully deserved their comeuppance.

@MuseCod in total war every one is a soldier, total wars are in essence when the intire population is involved in the war, cities act as industrial bases, manpower bases and leadership bases

Dear friends, the atomic bomb is horrible, but no match to a evil bastard with bare hand who will hurt you and your family even greater! such as eat you alive...brutally kill your family one by one in front of you.... bury a-live... burning..chopping head off... cut piece by piece.. that's what the evil japs had done in China, in Philippine, in Malay, in singapore 70 years ago.
