  • Keoni, you related to Steven Ho'okano of Wailua Nui? I met them when traveling in the back country of Maui. I went to show my respect of actual Hawaiians and to ask permission to come onto Hawaiian ancestral lands as we do in my native land of Viti (Fiji). Good people and definitely good times with the real people of Maui.

  • That's awesome! Did you say "hi' to him?

  • Get this: My husband and I recently drove to Hana as part of our 20th wedding anniversary weekend on Maui. As we drove into the town of Hana, I spied a man working in a yard on the side of the road. It was Keoni! "Hey, that's the guy from the video," I said to my husband. Pretty cool, yeah?
