The Latino Health Summit to Eliminate Disparities in the Latino Community was held on October 22nd.

Dr Robert Montemayor of Rutgers' Latino Information Network, with introduction by Hector Castro.

The Latino Health Institute of New Jersey is a partnership between the Latino Leadership Alliance Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), formed to eliminate health disparities in New Jersey's growing Latino community. The Institute will channel the experience and expertise of community leaders, health care providers, academics and professionals into a creative force charged with empowering the Latinos to eliminate the service gaps that threaten our community.
