The Ibanez BB9 is a booster that provides a fat bottom end and a powerful sound. This pedal is designed to help clean tones reverberate even more and bring more intensity to a player's sound. Combination with a distortion pedal allows for creation of a wide variety of tone colors, and the pedal is also equipped with True Bypass.
Bought one of these. Different and cool.

@TheMetalHeaD256, thanks, I think Im getting the Jet Driver.

@randomguitarstuff56 this pedal and the Jet Driver are meant to do two very different things. the Jet Driver is a distortion pedal. this is more about fattening up your guitar's sound... not necessarily distorting. though, i bet it would do a good job of driving a tube amp.
something that WOULD be comparable to this, though, would be the Tube Screamer. look into that one.

i love the word djent

@flankerchris7 Djent needs cranked mids, while retaining that low end twang. This pops the mids, but makes the guitar sound bigger and fatter, just like in djent.

@CTMetalhead95 I don't think you understand man. Alot of people use overdrives with hot tube amps, or even good solid states. It's not to introduce more gain into the signal, quite the opposite actually (most people when doing this turn the pedal gain to 0 or 1), but more to tighten up the low end, and really thicken the mids. Read up on it if you get a chance. It makes good amps sound even better,
