Ranking James Bond Part Two

Back with the second part of Ranking the James Bond movies with the final five movies. Of course I have also added a ranking of the actual James Bond actors themselves.

Definitely check out James Bond if you have only watched some of them, all of them are really enjoyable, even though some have quality issues, it is always great to see the evolution of a film franchise, especially if you watch them all chronologically.

I don't really have favourites list when it comes to bond movies but i do have favourites in the actors who portrayed him. I'd put brosnan and moore at the bottom of the list, they really went the easy way in my opinion with the brittish cliché dandy bond. And i'd put Connery at the top to, he's a good balance between the funny bonds and the more subtle ones. I have to say i like Daniel Craig though, very dark and tortured bond but i think he pulls it off pretty well.

Yea, Daniel Craig is someone who can still rise higher on the list. It is of course quite hard to pit Dalton/Lazenby against Brosnan/Moore/Connery, if only because they made more movies.

I wonder who will become the next bond after Craig though....

My top four Bond films:

1. GoldenEye

2. Dr No

3. You Only Live Twice

4. Goldfinger

Goldfinger is great because it really invented the Bond formula. I like Goldeneye even though I think its overrated. Secret Service is one of my favorites. Casino Royale is amazing... probably my favorite Bond film. I don't really like Craig, but the film wouldn't have worked as well without his overall seriousness.  From Russia with Love is very good, but I find it overrated because I agree the story is very simple.
