Technically, I'm using Lil' Wayne as the top notch symbol of contemporary Hip-Hop. This is a video I've had stored for months, but since I have no camera at the time.......why not just put it out.

  • when it comes to selling a million and a half records in a week thats bull shit. you could get the fuckin thing for free the day befor it was droped.I personaly think him and daddy bought a good % of them shits so it would get nominated and win a grammy also to collect royalty checks .they make a dollar for every album sold, more is made in royaltys a year or so down the road then album sales.he also got sued for not paying royaltys on lollipop.he was harder when he was 13 he's fake and gay

  • take lil wayne: metaphors, whitty lines; no real storyline. Yea he has that "oh shit" factor that makes ppl think that the verse is hot cuz he says some wild shit., but substance is always lacking.

take Black Thought: similes, mulitis, an amazing flow. Even when hes not specifically tellin a story he still gives you a message to think about. he thinks outside of himself and makes you reflect yourself n the world around you. He brings you into his world in order to connect with yours

  • @DARIUSAKABYRD i think that

  • I personally think what makes Lil Wayne what he is, is the personality behind it. And I enjoy his lyrics, sometimes I cant understand him, but I enjoy them just the same. Lil Wayne is the casual hip hop fans number one guy, because he does not do a lot of deep and thoughtful songs, because that does not really appeal to the casual masses. But that is just an opinion of mine, personally i am a Dre 3000 guy.

  • lil wendy? weezy fucks babys? KILL THAT NIGGER

  • i honestly dont give a fuk anymore it just seems like talentless mothafukas get signed out of nowhere everything is just garbage bet,mtv and those other channels and the radio fukn suck! industries dont look for talent anymore all they look for money thats it, every so called "artist." are just puppets that are found in some random fukn place!

  • hes doing better than u too

and thats because hes making money off people like you

    he is overrated

once all of his fans see the absence of his lyrical ability then hes gonna fall down so many fake "entertainers" that have

  • Ssorry, but that's a big negative; and since when did everybody liking something make it right. With your logic, slavery and witch burnings was perfectly reasonble.

  • the million that bought his album in a weeks time is the rest of america

  • If everything is opinion then neither your, nor America's (even though the rest of America doens't think that, most Americans don't even listen to Hip Hop) opinion matters. He's just like Papoose, sounds good for a lil bit, but sooner or later it's like where is this going. Furthermore, if you can't accept and argue people's opinions without trying to belittle their opinions I suggest you stay off of people's pages who have a differen't opinon that yours.
