For the past few years, ALI Project's new singles have all seemed to be clones of their first two Rozen Maiden songs. Their first Code Geass song was a pretty bad example of this. So, when I saw the new ending for Code Geass R2, I shouldn't have been surprised that it was much the same.
Watching that ending, however, made me mad. In addition to unoriginality, the slow dissolve editing did not even TRY to fit the song, save one little bit of quick cutting near the end. The first Code Geass ending had the same problem. Add to that the fact that the B-side of the single was a better song and much more suited to the way the images in the ending were presented, and I got frustrated.
I don't care if everyone thinks this is pointless. I just had to get this out of my system.

you cant really blame the song. The creators have butchered the ALI Project songs in Code Geass. Personally, though her songs all carry the same style and in ways seem the same, I love them all, and i was so pissed when i saw how they cut the first 2 endings.
While we disagree on whether or not their songs sounding the same is a good thing, I can definitely agree that the editing on those endings is piss-poor. Good god. D:
No doubt about it. Whoever in america edited the endings needs to be found, tourtured endlessly, and finally shot. ALI Project is an amazing group, and i love their music.
Could've sworn this comment wasn't here when I checked recently. :o Anyway, fair enough. ALI Project in general can be an acquired taste. As ALI Project goes, though, this song is at least more original and fitting than the original one used.
