Laminitic pony BEFORE barefoot Strasser trim

A laminitic pony with severely neglected hooves taken the day before her first Strasser barefoot trim. This pony suffered laminitis during spring last year and was shod and given bute. When this video was taken all that I had been able to do was saw off the toes which were over grown by several inches, with the appearance of clogs. The pony was in too much pain to be able to give a foot to be able to trim the sole without support. So this was left until the following day when a helper was present, when I could continue trimming the hoof.
