Audio of WZ in March of 2000 performing I Was In The House When the House Burned Down from the TLA in Philly. I was lucky to be there and as usual Warren didn't disappoint.

  • I saw the next show, in Allentown. He made a joke about the TLA (Theater of the Living Arts) sounding so high-class but actually being a hole in the wall.

  • @joedp2 LOL...yes it is...but small and great for sound

  • @DawnFremy

Warren dated Kim Lankford who played Ginger Ward on Knot's Landing.

  • Saw him at the Chance in Poughkeepsie NY- another small venue - back in the 80's; best show I've ever seen, to this day.

  • Awesome guy, truly unique.

  • @ropermachine I was there also..free show "-)

  • @manuetalain83 saw him at WMMR'S 25th birthday show, never forget it

  • @johnthehulk1

How do you figure? I've never heard that interpretation before.

  • What was with the Knots LAnding t-shirt? Goofey!

  • Warren wasn't particularly interested in politics. But this song is about Bush. The "House" burning down of course, is the one on Pennsylvania Avenue. Great tune.
