I used to be a shoe repairer and i know exactley what you mean. The cutomers seem to give you many many challenges, not just shoes either . I remember one day someone came in asking as to weather or not i could mend the cushions of a glider just cos they were leather. Obiosly i obliged, and got a free flight lol. But yes never two days are the same. I sure do miss it.

That is awesome. I know that it is expensive, but handmade shoes and cobbled shoes are awesome. It is indeed a craft. Do you go through an apprenticeship program for future cobblers? Just curious on how you came to be a cobbler.?
