@cam181990 are under siege because 'farmers' will shove them into a warehouse where they can roam freely on the floor, but are still suffocating in ammonia from dense populations, piling on top of each other and label it free range :( It's not safe to say free range anymore, you have to literally go to the farm if you care about what you eat here. It's terrible! Regulations and some sort of random checks to enforce the animals welfare would be an excellent start.

@cam181990 Sadly, a lot of our 'packaged' foods are dog food quality. There is no regulation and I can imagine that meat that looks damaged just goes in with the carcass for the chemical treatments to break it down into 'mechanically separated meats' for hotdogs/bologna/etc. There are no regulations and therefore, no waste. The way they've been allowed to treat animals is highly profitable, hence the backlash of people not eating meat products anymore. Even the 'free range' products

you guys rock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Tzara86 I'm guessing by this video you are telling me that the regulations over there are either to leaniant or non exsistant. The thing i don't understand is why this happens, because if the meat is brusied from beating an animal it's only good for dog food, so it create's waste. So what i'd like to see is the removal of battery cages (we can get cage free products) and better protection of animals from abuse and ill be happy

@cam181990 I'm in Canada. How about you watch Meet your Meat on YouTube to understand what goes on here and in the U.S.
-
@Tzara86 I'm not sure where you are but here in Australia we already have standards to protect farm animals from abuse. However I am aware that countries such as India are still unregulated and we would need to make these (unregulated) countries aware they need to act.

@applejacks2 However we would be the ones to blame for that but there won't be any easyfixes in reversing the impact
its true fuck. Animals are innocent. Only cowards prey on the innocent.

@S1L3NTS0LD13R & it's our duty to protect the innocent from harm.

Watch Forks Over Knives or check out the Engine 2 diet ... all great strapping firefighters from New York who eat 'plant strong' and have found their health has increased, cholesterol dropped, all their numbers have improved and their sex lives too. Once you free yourself from dairy and meat you feel so incredibly fit and healthy it is just amazing.

i know im properly gunna be shot for commenting here but animal liberation i reckon would be a bad idea because we do need to control animal population simply to protect other species. We caint just set all animals free and be done with it, it would damage the ecology

@cam181990 so you'd prefer to continue to murder innocent beings at the slaughterhouses, let animals be vivisectated in labs & locked up behind bars in zoos? protect what species exactly? sheep? cows? pigs? your gonna have to explain better!
