The problem here is the fact that he was drunk and he didnt think, and other people suffered and DIED for it. He made a chice, as well as the ones who rode, but he was the one who drove the car.....He is responsible, sorry but our whole life is governed by the choices we make....
-
Since you do not know--this was only the first drunk driving offense. Maybe he did it before, like said in this video, but he was not in trouble with the law for drunk driving.

Well since you were misinformed, I will correct you. Don't believe everything you hear, because people like that, post stuff like this that is very false. When someone is on house arrest, they are not having parties, no alcohol at all. So don't change your opinion based on false statements. Your resources are misinformed.

and yes he made a mistake and he made it more than once....but i love someone who also has made the mistake of drinking and driving more than once and he did get caught a couple times, i have been guilty just never gotten caught....he didn't "Murder" anyone....all the people involved made a fatal decision and the outcome sucks! but i don't think he deserves to be stoned and cursed for what happened. who made you the judge of man kind?

i went back a few months at all the comments....i live in demotte and i knew the kids in the car....not really well but i still knew them. Yes demotte is a very christian town and doesn't the bible say "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye" or even “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” i mean come on for goodness sakes....

@Deeda1111 She was being a teen????? There is absolutely no reason why a 16 year old girl should be out with two men and another teen boy at 2 am!!!!!

@xhayliexannx You might hate when people say that. Unfortunately for Dean he made the choice to drink and drive as an adult and in that resulted in two people dieing. They paid the price for there choice to get in the car with a drunk driver. Now because of his choice he will pay the price. He did not intend for anyone to die. I know a man who was in his 60's and he choose to drink and drive. His wife got killed in the accident. He did 10 years. You think he wanted her to die.
This is on the front page of Yahoo now. Expect it to get lots of hits in the coming days. He's going to jail, and he's trying to help others avoid his mistake. Forgiveness is a powerful word. He didn't intentionally kill anyone, he will pay the price of living in torment for the rest of his life. I'm sure he has days where he wishes it was him.

Here is my question, since I'm not from your community, I would like to know why a 16 year old girl was out at 2 o'clock in the morning with two 21 year old men and a 17 year old boy drinking. Why aren't her parents being held responsible since she was a minor? I think we all want to place blame any time there is a tragedy, but, truly we need to learn from this mistake that all 4 people in the vehicle made.
