To make insulated curtains, find thermal-backed fabric and cut them to the same size as the decorative curtains, hemming them slightly shorter than the original fabric. Keep the warm air in and the cool air out using homemade insulated curtains with information from an experienced pattern maker in this free video on sewing.

  • Sorry Daniel, but you need to show what you're talking about. Turn which edge, the pre bought curtain or the thermal lining...? Clear as mud I say...

    Anyone can throw money at a problem, but you're talk doesn't explain why we shouldn't go ahead and just purchase Thermal Curtains to start with.
