A video showing off some of the physics introduced in the PC version of Mirror's Edge using PhysX. Video taken at 1680x1050 maxed out with 4xaa.

It's a little laggier than I would have liked, but these videos were taken using Fraps which hurts FPS and then I had to compress it.

PC Specs:
Evga 8800GTX
C2D 6600
2GB DDR2 800 Ram

Song: Originally Pushing Foward Back by Temple of the Dog, but changed to 3 Ghosts by NIN becasue of copyright issues.

That was the idea... to demonstrate how the cloth never breaks the same way twice, it is all done with physics. No need to be a douche about it.

  • A lot of console gamers are pitifully ignorant. They probably like to think PC rigs cost $10,000 to better justify their consoles.

You need to compress it using a video editing program like Sony Vegas or Windows Movie Maker.

  • @epicUltramagnus um, this came out first, plus brink sucks big dick

  • Why isn't this used in like, every game?

  • Wow - this is amazing- PhisX is the future right there. damn. but bro, what G-card are u using?

  • @saperian2 dumbass

  • brink?

  • That is some awesome detail in the game, i like stuff like that when its in video games, i always find myself toying with detail like shooting that plastic or shooting glass and seeing if it is different everytime the way it shatters. I understand the point of your video unlike some people on here.

  • i get 5fps with GeForce 210 when they shoot the objects that is related to Physx. Why don't they just use Havok?

  • 2:42 awesome fall
