    they were testing a light weight exhaust and the exhaust broke right in the middle of the car

  • Shame Norris Designs never let on that the engine and drivetrain conversion was done by NR Autosport, and Simon Norris just bought it to fit a worked on, later Evo engine to fit.

    By saying 'shame', the only reason he sold it on, was because it was putting his company car (short wheel base Evo IX) to shame. He only deals with Evo IV or later, and this car showed what the I, II, III chassis could do and scared the hell out of him!

    Damn, that sucks. Shitty way to end a race when considering everything else that can go wrong with a car. Nice run though.
