http://www.outsystems.com - In this demo, and in under 4 minutes, we create a complete web application using the Agile Platform's visual development environment. We start by defining the database model, user interfaces and business logic without writing any low-level code. Then we automatically deploy the application with 1 click, and immediately test in a browser. This is web development productivity!

OutSystems revolutionizes the way IT departments deliver and manage custom web applications that can be changed at the speed of business.

The Agile Platform is a complete solution for the development, deployment and management of custom enterprise web applications, that takes custom development of web and mobile apps to a whole new level.

  • less than 5 minutes, but it only took them ~2h to write the script, and it took her more than 1 hour to read and sync script with video which is ran at about 2-2.5x

  • @faradniftaliyev Hi! I'm pretty new in this field and would like to learn something regarding this web app developing. I went to iron speed as per your suggestion, and on the web there are couple of more platforms like this. I came across outsystems's blog titled "InfoWorld ranks web development tools: Agile Platform gets highest rating "very good"" comparing ironspeed, Agile Platform and other platforms. So, my question to you is: Which "platform" do you find less complicated and user friendly?

  • not use ajax

  • "rails generate scaffold Employee name:string phone:number email:text"

that how you do all this in a second with ruby on rails. just execute a script with this arguments :)

  • Nice video...Haven't heard of this product before but it looks interesting. As an alternative you may research ironspeed. Similar with the 'drag and drop' functionality...

  • Wow...that's incredible!Thank you very much.
