I grew up with Ernest movies, and loved every second of them. Man I miss Jim Varney like crazy, he had such a good brand of humour.

Jim Varney made over 4,000 commercials as Ernest. Four thousand! That is unreal. What's even more unreal is that he had the ability to churn them out without making people grow sick and tired of seeing him. His commercials made me smile every time. He was a good actor, a funny comedian and a great human being. I know he's in a better place, but I do miss seeing him on my tv every day. Thanks for the many years of making me and countless others laugh. Varney, you are the best at what you did.
