"To what end?"
I nearly wet myself. I generally hate puns but unintended ones I can forgive.

@JanforWidol But in Hammer films, from Britain, not in "Hollywood: productions. (Which they made a point of saying.) But it's worth mentioning, because Cushing was GREAT as Baron Frankenstein.

@ZexyKay For god's sake, GET OUT OF THERE!!! ;)

I had just had a glass of milk and was nibbling away at a slice of bread when they started talking about how humans shouldn't eat bread and milk.

@angelzoog 'Luvvie' is a term used (usually derogatory) to describe an actor who is affected or camp. The Oxford English dictionary traces all words included in it back as far as possible to see where they come from (etymology). Stephen is shocked because the term luvvie is supposedly used by camp actors to describe each other - it implies that Stephen is a bit of a luvvie himself.
-
i'm sorry if i seem stupid for asking this. but what is emma talking about when she says Luvvie? and why does stephen act like its a huge shock? i understood everything else mentioned on this episode.

Best episode of QI ever, John Sessions isn't that funny, his impression was good, but other wise a terrific episode as I love FILM
I can't get over John Sessions imitation of Alan Rickman. Even his whole face transformes into Alan Rickman's. Fantastic! :D

Emma Thompson seems to find David Mitchell very funny. But there again, so do I. It follows, therefore, that I am Emma Thompson.
