Based on Book Four of the Guardian Realms series
Devastated by her parents deaths, young Angelina is crowned Queen of New Akeron on the day of their funerals. Though unprepared to rule, Damien, who abdicated earlier, and their younger sister Liana, who believes she is the rightful Queen, leave court. Angelina finds some comfort in her lover, exiled Prince Marek Di'Aru of Mauritane but soon he too leaves her to return to his home.
Abandoned and alone, Angelina is terrified as she slowly loses who she was to who she must be to save her kingdom from civil war.
