My first put-down last year was Left Behind . . . partly because it did the same thing religiously that yours did politically, but mostly because it was just really badly written.
Finished Andalite Chronicles, by K.A. Applegate, The Bermudez Triangle by Maureen Johnson, and am nearly done with A Magnificent Catastrophe, which will bring my total up to 22 rereads, 7 reads, 29 books total.
