An experimental horror music instrumental track based upon the character Indrid Cold mentioned in the book "The Mothman Prophecies" by author John Keel.
The track was created as the B-Side for my 4-track horror single Shock! Horror! and because of the otherworldly nature of the subject material I tried a lot of bizarre production techniques such as the sampling of everyday objects, utilising sounds and synth instruments from my mobile phone as well as lesser used instruments like stylophones and noise tubes.
The only vocal parts in the track are the words "Do not be afraid. We mean you no harm. I come from a country much less powerful than yours. My name is Cold. I sleep, breathe, and bleed just as you do" which are the only words directly attributed to the "entity" known as Indrid Cold in the book the Mothman Prophecies. The character is mentioned a lot however not many of his lines are produced directly like these.
