At first I found one raccoon on the roof under the window of second floor. I was surprised why a raccoon (someone called it garbage bear) slept here. It was raining. The lazy and clever raccoon found a good place to take a rest: no rain, in the corner, on the roof, and warm. I took several pictures. But I feel it was lonely in the raining day without a house to live. Raccoon, fight for living.

After one hour I am very surprised to find there was new raccoon! I took the camera and recoded this video from the window. I kept me in silent. Good luck the smart raccoon had not found me. Here is the video.

After I published video on Youtube Raccoon couple still slept on the roof. They were really lazy.

The sleeping way of the raccoons is interesting. The large raccoon put its head toward to its belly. It looked like a ball with fur. This funny sleeping way may be good for health. Anyway Raccoon is creativity. It can apply a sleeping method patent.

  • Very cool!

I just had a 2 week raccoon dilema but all has just ended to the good. (I have a few videos with what has been going on).

Did you know raccoons (masked bandits) are part of the panda family? (I didn't until I did some research)

raccoon is different from panda. Raccoon belongs to Procyonids and it is Carnivora. Panda is not Carnivora.

Raccoon is smart because it eats fish :-) Panda looks lovely stupid because it eats leaves. "Kufu Panda" is an exception.

  • Time to get out the .22 .

  • @CharlieCL They are both in the very large order

Carnivora, (even though pandas are plant eaters they are classified by other structures that

show common ancestors, and so are in the carnivore order). Pandas are in the family Ursidae,

with bears, while raccoons are in the family Procyonidae, with ring-tails and coatis. The

giant panda is in a genus by itself, its closest relative is the red panda.

  • awww!!!! they are soooooo cute!!!!!!!!

  • ohh, they are sleeping =)... so cute =)
