On June 18, 2007, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) murdered 11 Cali legislators the group had kidnapped five years earlier. On July 4th and 5th 2007, more than one million people took to the streets to protest. Set to the music of U2's "Mothers of the Disappeared." The song rings as true for Colombia today as it did for Chile and Argentina 20 years ago.

Eso, diles a todo mundo que las FARC son terroristas y nosotros Colombianos-Americanos ya estamos jartos de ver esos secuestros de miles de civiles en Colombia. Nosotros estamos cansados y nos odiamos de ver muertos y torturados. Nosotros estamos contra la guerilla y paramilitares. Por favor NO MAS SECUESTROS, NO MAS MUERTES, NO MAS MENTIRAS, NO MAS FARC.

Because I don't quite get your reference... Saddam Hussein WAS a bad guy. That doesn't somehow make the FARC good, no matter what folks think about the U.S. or the Bush Administration, or whatever. And that may not have been your point. The ? is because your point was unclear. Sorry.
