Allan Sheinfeld is Stump the Undertaker's Organ performing "Who Stole the Kishka?" at the The Midway Cafe in Boston, U.S.A. This song was written by the king of polka, Frankie Yankovic.

Someone stole the kishka
Someone stole the kishka
Who stole the kishka,
from the butcher's shop?
Who stole the kishka?
Who stole the kishka?
Who stole the kishka?
Someone call the cops!

Fat and round and firmly packed
It was hanging on the rack
Someone stole the kishka
When I turned my back
Who stole the kishka?
Who stole the kishka?
Who stole the kishka?
Someone bring it back!

Someone stole the kishka
Someone stole the kishka
Who stole the kishka,
from the butcher shop?
Who stole the kishka?
Who stole the kishka?
Who stole the kishka?
Someone call the cops!

Yusef found the kishka
Yusef found the kishka
Yusef found the kishka
And he hung it on the rack.
He found the kishka
He found the kishka
He found the kishka
Yusef brought it back
Heeeeeyyyyyyyy
Hey!
huh-huh-huh-huh

  • Nicely played and sung. Could this be the Midway Cafe in Dedham Mass, or in Canton Mass? I've been to both but didn't recall seeing live entertainment.

  • This was at The Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain on Washington Street. I'll mention that this Saturday, November 10th, at around 10 pm, Stump the Undertaker's Organ is having a CD release Show at the Plough & Stars on Mass. Ave in Cambridge, Mass.

  • Hi Alan,

So ... what have you been up to?

    Your old pal,

    Bill Norcott

  • Roll up those white socks and tighten that babushka

  • Give that man a record deal! 10 cd's for 10 cents! Hi Allan...you da' man.

  • Thank you for taking the time to reply & info. I was confusing the Midway Cafe with the Medway Cafe. Funny enough, I'm not too far from JP. My next drive thru there I'll be sure to take notice.

  • Good Music
