@SchmidtFilms86 im not comparing, im just saying that williams is not the king. They are all kings, the same as the composers you said. Although ones are better than others.

John Williams is like The Beatles....but for movies...
I feel hopeless listening to this.

John Williams is THE film composer - and Spielberg shows once again that he is a genius by 1) recognizing the importance of music, and 2) chosing Williams and trusting him.
I see Hans Zimmer being mentioned a lot. He is great in his own right, but in a different area. Zimmer is a fantastic musical sound designer, and great with innovative soundscapes. But John Williams is THE man for sweeping, epic, gorgeous, beautiful, complex dramatic film scoring. I can't even imagine life without him!
