The House of the Wannsee Conference

On January 20, 1942, 15 high-ranking Nazi party and German government officials gathered at a villa in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee to discuss and coordinate the implementation of the "Final Solution." Reinhard Heydrich, SS chief Heinrich Himmler's head deputy and head of the Reich Main Security Office, held the meeting in order to involve key members of the German ministerial bureaucracy, including the Foreign and Justice Ministries, whose cooperation was needed to implement the killing measures.

In this film by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Dr. Norbert Kampe, Memorial and Educational Site Director of the Villa at Wannsee, takes viewers on a tour of the tortuous history of the house where the "Final Solution" was coordinated. @GlenRoSSe69 He was given a trial even though he sent millions to the gas chambers without a chance. Including innocent children, the elderly & every age.He took their innocent lives & voices away. IF it had been China or North Korea, he would've hung right away and not given a trial. So, yes, he was given a fair trial. Nazi war criminals committed genocide-the mass murder of millions-yet they get trials?That is VERY fair.So educate yourself better because your ignorance will get you nowhere.

Diminishing the atrocity of genocide and fabricating the truth of real human suffering is inhumane & ignorant. You'd think ignorant, stupid, immature idiots would learn from David Irving's fatal mistake when he lost his own lawsuit he started to Deborsh Liptadt, who exposed him his racism & faudulent lies. @GlenRoSSe69 You should learn from the fatal mistake of Holocaust denier David Irving. He actually published books based on distorted evidence that he fabricated from primary resources. He sued Deborah Lipstadt-a case she won-he lost his own lawsuit & all credibility. She & her defense team exposed him as a fraud. That is what happens to liars & bigots like Irving that spread bigotry, hatred and lies. Diminishing the reality of the Holocaust is wrong & ignorant. Truth & justice always win!

@GlenRoSSe69 Overlooking the truth and believing lies will get you nowhere in life. The hospitals run in the death camps were for Nazi staff and reserved for human experimentation performed on the victims, such as mengele's human experimentation on twins in the "camp hospital." The soccer teams and activities were played by nazi staff while slave labor and human gassings in the gas chambers occurred. That is how evil and inhumane Nazis were SO GET YOUR FACTS straight.

Thank you, we have to stand up for those who suffered, and make sure that this horrible thing will never happen again. I knew a man who personally helped liberate one of these camps, it changed him for the rest of his life. These people who refuse to believe the truth amaze and saddens me. These are ignorant people who for some reason belive the lies of the others, those who never were there, instead of those who's minds are for ever seered with the gastly images. God bless

@yankeegurl62 So is that why many camps had - swimming pools, soccer fields/teams, opera, film houses, stores, there own $, there own hospitals, schools; is that what you do for people that you are going to kill? NO. Not one Allied war time leader or general said ONE THING about these being death camps in ANY of there books!!? Were is the huge mounds of ash? The claims cannot be held up by sci. Sorry - Now Gen Ike had REAL death camps for German pows - he killed Millions.

well, guess its easy to "debate" about the holocost being a scam when you have no personal relevance to the matter. My fathers family was totally wiped but his dad and aunt. Their children & loved ones killed before their eyes. Many more story's like that, you only need to want to find out. A little advice, you can hate Jews with no connection to the holocaust being true. denying it ever toke place only makes you look like an idiot as well as racist.

@KrautGoesWild I try to repeat over and over again that Japan & Germany are the US's best friends, maybe after Canada. Anti-Semites sometimes then assert, because of my antipathy towards Nazis, that hypocrisy is present. If they would actually visit Germany, they'd have a blast & realize that period was highly aberrant. Anyways, take a gander again at that photo of Herr Hitler staring at his LInz museum model in the bunker. Ain't that Teutonic Tenesmus?
