This is the Australian band Wa Wa Nee performing the song "Sugar Free" (from their self-titled CD) on TOTP back in 1987. I captured this from my own VHS-recorded copy of the broadcast from back in the day. :)

  • is the guitarist a guy named "Red" or something? he used to feature on that show "Hey Hey Its Saturday" or something like that

  • I don't know anything about that, but the guitarist's name is Steve Williams.

  • @heylad Red is "Red Symons" the guitarist from the band "skyhooks" who later appeared in "Hey Hey It's Saturday" as a judge for the Red Faces segment.

  • @albetty100, Thank you for the clarification. I would imagine that being from the U.S. is why I'm not familiar with any of the stuff you'd mentioned. ;-)

  • my gosh, how did you get this?

  • The information I included along with the video says that I captured this from my own VHS recording of the television broadcast from back in the day. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
