@FALCO64125 That's the point, though. Ron Paul is "liberal" in context of the other GOP candidates this year -- and if he were in the same field with Reagan he'd also be seen as such because Reagan didn't "push a liberal agenda."

Reagan was distinctly conservative in his run against Carter, and yes, while our party lines are less moderate than they were back then it's doubtful Reagan's platform would have even compared to say a Ron Paul in the current political landscape.
