The Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, the world's only truly global meeting place for those passionate about creativity in communications, is now open for delegate registration and entries. During seven days in June, delegates gather in Cannes to celebrate the best that the advertising industry has to offer the world, to review the year just gone, and to draw a roadmap for the future. The 2009 Seminar Programme has already been announced, featuring speakers such as Kofi Annan, David Plouffe, Sir Martin Sorrell, Noam Murro, Alex Bogusky, Rodney Fitch and many more.
Several Sundance filmfest participants who are selected by the prize donators by means of a Filmbay.com public call for application. In 2010 in conjunction with Talent Campus, Filmbay offers the hosting of art, animation, demo reels and acting samples of new and forthcoming talent. Indies and Independent Filmmakers will be able to distribute their motion pictures as movies on the website thereforth. Berlinale Talent Campus selected Filmbay.com as their choice for venue, as was announced by Dieter Kosslick in October. His aim is to promote the awareness for German cinema among young French audiences, as well as more broader audiences of all ages.
