Celebrity Wedding - Billy Joel & Katie Lee

Piano rock legend Billy Joel recently got hitched to TV host and culinary artist Katie Lee, who is 32 years younger than the mega-selling musician. Joel, who was famously married to Uptown Girl Christie Brinkley until the early 90s, wanted his third marriage to stick, so he went all out with a to die for ceremony. The wedding was held at Joel's 15 acre oceanside Long Island mansion, where guests were treated to an outdoor, Italian harvest feast. Katie Lee looked spectacular in a sleeveless Oscar De La Renta gown made from Chantilly lace that featured a scalloped hemline. After the couple exchanged vows, Katie slipped into a black Dolce and Gabanna dress with aquamarine jewels for the remainder of the evening. At the reception, guests dined on Italian style dishes and a well stocked buffet of fish, meat and cheeses, and finished their meal with slices of a rich, chocolate covered wedding cake. The couple's famous friends danced the night away and were moved by a special performance of Joel singing his first new pop song in over a decade, All My Life, which he wrote for his new wife. So how can you have a Joel inspired wedding without selling as many records as The Piano Man has in order to afford it? You can rent out space at a mansion for your wedding site, and use it as a dramatic background for your outdoor wedding and reception. Take a cue from Joel's wedding day menu and serve a nice, multi course Italian meal, including a desert buffet that doesn't skimp on the cannolis. And you can't beat Katie's sense of style, so try and emulate it by mixing a traditional gown look with something a little trendier... like the mix of lace with a scalloped hemline. @jack5505 I would have to disagree...I kind of feel bad for the guy. The only reason him and Katie Lee split was because she was rumored to of been having an affair. He just wants to marry someone who loves him and has been fooled 3 times now. I really do feel bad for this guy...He has so much talent and he's such a nice guy.
