1. Pathetically, those who shout "free Tibet" don't know a thing about how unfree Tibet was before 1949. Back then, Tibetan aristcrats and monasteries owned about 90% of Tibetan land and thousands of Tibetan slaves. Tibetan slaves had no right to their lives, not to mention farm nor livestock. The aristcrats could kill a male slave or rape a female slave when they felt like doing it. The senior lamas were rich, look, they got a lot of lands and slaves.
