Making casts of 1:10 scale 'Jerry cans'

This is the process of how I make miniature Jerry cans for r/c car accessories. In this video I'm using Alumailite (R) white. Which, as the name suggests, dries white when not dyed. It has a working time of about 1.5mins, a de-mold time of 5-15mins and totally cures overnight. Pretty neat stuff once you get used to all of the quirks it has hehe. Hope you all enjoy. Great! this sort of technique lets us reclaim at least a few aspects of modelling for ourselves rather than becoming "credit card" modellers. A big thumbs-up from me!

@Del350K4 thanks alot bro. I know what you mean, with stuff so readily available pre-made, it's hard to find people who prefer to build it themselves.

@razer1000 Yet when enough people get creative it can force changes in manufacturers´policies! RC rock crawling apparently began with creative people using Clodbuster axles etc to build their own crawlers. When YT popularises anything, scale accessories being a good example, a market´s created within weeks. So I suppose we can pat ourselves on the back for being a part of something which can push the big boys around...
