This is the process of how I make miniature Jerry cans for r/c car accessories. In this video I'm using Alumailite (R) white. Which, as the name suggests, dries white when not dyed. It has a working time of about 1.5mins, a de-mold time of 5-15mins and totally cures overnight. Pretty neat stuff once you get used to all of the quirks it has hehe. Hope you all enjoy. • Great! this sort of technique lets us reclaim at least a few aspects of modelling for ourselves rather than becoming "credit card" modellers. A big thumbs-up from me!

  • @Del350K4 thanks alot bro. I know what you mean, with stuff so readily available pre-made, it's hard to find people who prefer to build it themselves.

  • @razer1000 Yet when enough people get creative it can force changes in manufacturers´policies! RC rock crawling apparently began with creative people using Clodbuster axles etc to build their own crawlers. When YT popularises anything, scale accessories being a good example, a market´s created within weeks. So I suppose we can pat ourselves on the back for being a part of something which can push the big boys around...
