I finally splurged on a Canon TC-80N3 timer/remote to automate the frame taking part of time lapse photography. Here's the first result, just looking out the dining room window this evening.

Shot with a Canon EOS D30 & ef17-40Lf4 lens, and TC-80N3 timer/remote.

  • how many photos did you take

  • well did you do any setup so the camera took a picture every second or so

  • I used a Canon TC80N3 timer/wired remote set to continuously capture frames, every 1 or 2 seconds I think. The jpg's were then assembled into a timeline in Windows Moviemaker.
