Has "working" (i.e. flickering LED) pilot light and gas/hissing sound noise which comes from white noise generator sound card and speaker I installed inside. I wanted something more then a static prop and for flamethrowers this means having a pilot light. The gas/hissing sound is just an added bonus. With a prop firearm, if you aren't shooting there normally isn't any sound. This prop flamethrower is somewhat based on the M-240 Incinerator unit used by the United States Colonial Marines in the movie Aliens.
Total cost of this project was less then $30 since the CS-6 Longshot was free. I actually made two gas bottles from PVC pipe and made them removable via garden hose connectors so the prop flamethrower can be "reloaded" during combat. Fun stuff!
for the "flame" on the igniter, you should have used a blue light instead of yellow/orange. Any time you see a flamethrower, the igniter always has a blue flame.

@SabreFan84 Good point! I'll have to see if I can dig up a few blue LEDs. Right now there are two LEDs in there but they're both on the same "flickering" circuit. Ideally I'd like to have two LEDs each on its own circuit. I never even considered the blue pilot light, probably because the flickering LEDs I got where donated by a friend for this project. Thanks for the comment!

@organizedchaos624 There are plenty of flamethrower videos on YouTube, mine is labeled as a prop, since it has lights/sound its technically not a static prop, but its not a real flamethrower either. Unlike many other "flamethrower" videos, mine is titled correctly. Sorry to disappoint you. I assure you, I was just as disappointed with all the videos you uploaded. Oh wait, you don't have any. By the way, say hi to R.C. Collins for me next time you see him in the halls of Bradley Military Academy.

@TheRealStinkyface What you see is what you get. Its only a prop, like a movie prop, only this hasn't been in any movies. It doesn't shoot fire, bullets, or nerf darts, sorry. I made this for a costume I'm working on, and real bullets aren't allowed at the various conventions I'd be attending, nor is real fire permitted at any of those same conventions, and to get the sound board and lights in there, I had to remove the nerf internals. So while it would be cool to shoot something, it doesn't...
