  • Please don't take it personally...but it is very shallow to think that you obey all the civil laws, much less God's laws.Have you ever hid an income, cheated in taxes, driving over speed limit, not making complete stop on stop sign, running on red light ...Even if you have never done those things it is so much easier to see the fact that everybody is completely short when it comes to God's law.You mentioned "the context".Who's context is valid of what is to keep and what not in Torah?

  • @VESANG the point of the video is in the title "NO ONE CAN KEEP..." There is a difference between "No one can..." as opposed to "No one does..." The excuse people use is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep ALL the commandments. The next time you are driving down the road see if it is possible to not speed. Of course, the answer is, yes, it is possible. That you might not has nothing to do with whether you can.

  • Luke 1:5-6 ... apparently the NT records that it IS possible to observe "all the Lord's commandments and regulations blamelessly"

  • Yes! I wouldn't disagree with that, and the more obvious (to me at least... but I like yours) matt 5:19-20. However, the Christian doctrine of original sin makes their efforts pointless, as they would still be "sinners," but that is beside the point of the video. Your point points to the internal contradiction of the "new" testament itself, which I hadn't thought to address... Thank-you. I had to learn a bit about the local building code, I thought "interesting, the gov't expects observance!"

  • So do Jews, following Torah today, who reject "Yeshua" have "salvation"?

  • Gabriel Ansley, God's bible messenger explains this concept well in his free downloadable book. undeniablebiblicalproof dotkom

  • They have always been written on Mans hearts since Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowlede of good and evil. The prophets taught them and so did Jesus, John and the apostles! This has always been the way to eternal life and still is!

  • Thanks for this message brother. What you're saying is logical. The 613 laws were given by God to the nation of Israel to help them govern and only for those citizens to follow. The 10 Commandments on the otherhand, were intended to be universal for ALL of mankind to keep and for all of time!

  • @rsims87 No problem ! The issue with us as people claiming obedience and keeping Torah /scripture/ is that we are unwilling to acknowledge our failures.Do you think that Torah observing person confesses all his sins .There is a failure in keeping the commandments and confessing bcs we are spiritually blind to many things we do. I guess we agree now that keeping is only in the perspective of believing in the mercy of God .We fail in everything else.

  • @VESANG I never said anyone lived without ever sinning. I said that it is possible to keep Torah. Keeping Torah (in the Hebraic perspective) means guarding it. No, no one has ever lived their entire life without violating Torah even once. However, many have loved Torah and guarded it and observed it. When they fail, they repent. Ezekiel 33 explains perfectly how "grace" works. So, I guess I just didn't explain what I was trying to say well enough.

  • @rsims87 So the fact that you can't point to 1 person who has not broken God's commandments ,sacrifice and day of atonement is my opinion??? it's not Torah facts ??? I am not trying to trample YHWH's Torah as you say or even less to drag you down...on the opposite i respect you and wish you all the best..I know God revels trough scripture .The problem has always been how we read scripture and how we understand it...this is the core of clash for believers...

  • @VESANG I simply posted Scripture and you reply with facts prove otherwise? So you do not believe Scripture? Look, if you wanna make excuses to trample YHWH's Torah, that's your business. Just don't try to drag me along.

  • @rsims87 Facts prove the opposite !The OC commandments of God include sacrifice which is public admission of sinfulness.Every year there was day of atonement for the sins of the entire nation..that's the foundation to start thinking about God's law ...keeping LAW of God makes only sense if we include the entire idea /or message / in the OC. But not the shadow /the OC was just this/ since blood of animals can not clean sins but was symbol for something much bigger .

  • @VESANG

Deu 30:11 “For this command which I am commanding you today, it is not too hard for you, nor is it far off.

Deu 30:14 “For the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart – to do it.

Deu 30:19 “I have called the heavens and the earth as witnesses today against you: I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore you shall choose life, so that you live, both you and your seed

  • @rsims87 Thanks but the text you gave does not say that YOU CAN KEEP the commandments it says that the commandments are not "far of " /literal translation/ in the sense next verses that they are given to man on earth and they are not in heaven or over seas...it is quite stretch to interpret it your way...facts prove the opposite and secondly the OC commandments of God include sacrifice - public admission of sinfulness...that's the foundation to start thinking about God's law
