I have edited The Truman Show down to 10 minutes while still keeping the main plot intact. This is one of my favourite films so cutting anything out was hard.
This really is an amazing film and I would recommend that you get it for your collection.

@Dreadlord67 They killed him off in the show, but he tried returning to the set, so they took him away. Yes, he was probably going to tell him.

Can somebody explain to me the scene with his father? I understand his dad didn't actually die, but it was part of the "creator's" choice to make it appear that way, and to traumatize him. So as to keep Truman forever on the island. But...when he runs into him again as the poor man, and recognizes him...was the father planning on revealing to Truman what the truth was? Cause if he was still acting, a poor man doesn't typically grab your face..you know?
