Status of my team so far: Lapras Lv42, Magneton Lv43, Pidgeot Lv43, Raticate Lv43, Tangrowth Lv43 and Typhlosion Lv43.

We reach Kanto and had entered Victory Road but before we can head to Indigo Plateau, our Rival Brad stops us in our tracks challenging us to yet another battle.

He has a Lv36 Sneasel, a Lv37 Magneton, a Lv38 Golbat, a Lv37 Haunter, a Lv37 Kadabra and the last Pokemon depend on the starter you began with.
If Totodile, it's Meganium Lv40
If Chikorita, it's Typhlosion Lv40
If Cyndaquil, it's Feraligatr Lv40

He's added a Kadabra to his arsenal making him even more of a threat. Nah, he isn't. Like Haunter, Kadabra can go down with either Ghost or Dark-type moves. The rest of his Pokemon can be taken down easily with the right type but for the starter, plan accordingly for it can be a very tough fight as it shows how my team do quite well in battle especially when my Tangrowth took down Feraligatr.

After the battle, he realizes that he has a lot to learn about caring for his Pokemon and heads off. Indigo Plateau remains as well as the Johto Elite Four.

  • Nice lucky egg strategy! i.e:having boosted EXP all the time. it helps if you trade with a friend and trade back over wi fi because you get 1.5 EXP more + the fact that it increases the exp gained by 50%. Which is pretty nice if you want to level up your pokemon , and just for the trouble of commenting i'm gonna tell you laprases moves that it can learn =).*gasps for breath* ill PM you! bye!!!!!!!

  • Thanks. I'll see what you have in mind.

  • i like how the rival says he beat every trainer in victory road
