  • In Finland we have softer wood - and a full-manual tool. :-)

  • this just shows what people do an put it on youtube like there doin it rite so sad did not hit one jouice this is how dont do flooring so sad theres enough staples in the floor for the whole room boo an to rack it wat a squid

  • How long did it take you to rack all that out? You can install for me any time! Let's hope those are non skid soles or you have a bunch of crap to sand off when you're done.

  • esse eu nem comento... num sei fazer isso :P

  • thats like doing the job 2 times having all the pices cut and laying the floor again

  • I did, that is what this sub-topic is about.. When it comes to Flooring its not so much about aesthetics as it is about durability, and that's why customers appreciate such simple yet efficient preventive measures to insure a new floor's long life regardless of the dozens of problems that may occur over that course.

  • You originally said you didnt leave expansion, you didnt say around the perimeter, i agree with leaving expansion at the wall where you would close because if the floor will grow it will grow FORWARD, before anywhere else, thus the reason for EXPANSION ROWS, but in a room that small to leave 1/4 expansion mid floor is not necessary and personally its very UGLY.

  • you're the Man !!! Turbo !!! forget the freaks who ask about the space.. it's not needed :D

  • New York City has electricity dude and air conditioning units, but they do not run 24 hours per day and on occasion they falter, and on occasion tenants may forget to maintain them or even turn them on, and from time to time it is possible that water may wind up on the hard wood floors. An easy way to counter any expansion is to leave a quarter inch along the perimeter should such circumstances occur. My customers expect me to counter these possabilities...
