@ilinaes yaar halwa is all about ghee and sugar......no halwa is complete without them

Aunty I love your recipes and the simplicity of your kitchen. I have been using your recipes for some of my recipes. So my compliments to you. My kitchen Gurus are my Mom and the Maharaj of the kitchens our great city of Bikaner and Jodhpur.
Everything seems great till you made the sugar syrup. I think the sugar syrup needs to be of candy or the syrup consistency on the candy thermometer. Your recipe gave a completely different taste. So only for this recipe, I feel disappointed.

Hello Manjulaji,
Thanks for sharing the recipe.Well when I fried daal till it gets brown color....it became crispy & this turned to make my final halwa lil crispy:(
What should I do to avoid this next time?

I'm learning a lot from your videos. Non-Indians can see a lot of Indian new dishes that they don't have in the restaurants.
