ummm....this is just gym etiquette, sure some of the stuff he says is over the top but this is how everyone acts at the gym. If youre like "ya gym guy sucks" that just means you usually do cardio and dont know what to do when lifting with other people

@DudeIKilledKenny i agree but jims all about stereotype humor.....gym guy, pick up basketball guy (thats most likely me lol), flag football guy, fantasy football guy.....and not just that but im in the bb forums and chat it up with the fellaz and alot of the guys crack on dudes for not doing squats or having bad form or whatever and i always refer them to the gym guy soundbite from rome.....ps...gotta do those squats though ; )

@mathiue777 You're right, there are douchebags in the gym. Yet the guy Rome plays as the victim no better. They're both a part of the problem in a commercial gym, but why can't we just understand that everyone has egos instead of being so childish on his segment? At least be less biased. Why is he making fun of chalk and what people wear? The entire segment is childish.
He's basically sniveling behind their backs.

@DudeIKilledKenny im sure rome aint ripped under his blazer lol but gym guys are the reason i dont work out at a gym...i deal with douche bags all day driving to work at work and driving home from work that the last thing i need is some douche bag at the gym to provoke me, i get my work in on my squat rack at home with my ironmaster bench love it!

So, Jim Rome is the gym idiot who doesn't want to share equipment in the gym.
Doesn't know how to properly train in the gym.
Hates offering help to spot, because he doesn't know how to spot, then gets flustered when the lifter asks him to stop lifting the weight.
Doesn't know proper form, concentrates on what others are doing rather than working out.
Insecure about himself, so he checks out how much weight others are lifting.
Gym idiot. Come for NYR, make no progress, gone by March.
