i mean go to the tribes and villages where people are dying because they don't have the basic necessities like water and food. Again, something Americans wouldn't know about. I've been on missions trips, and i hope to be a missionary so i can spread the love of God to people that would actually appreciate the fact that someone has died for them.

Something most Americans wouldn't know about. Missionaries give the people hope in knowing that Jesus cares about them. Missionaries give the people hope knowing that there are people willing to risk everything to help them. Do you see their own country trying to help? NO. They are GRATEFUL for what they have. AGAIN, somthing most Americans wouldn't know about. Ho wabout you go to a third world country, and i don't mean go to one on vacation and see the tourist areas.

REALITY CHECK:

Missionaries don't make money.THEY RAISE MONEY FROM CHURCHES IN AMERICA by speaking at each church that supports them. One church could donate 50 cents and another 50 dollars. And remember: NOT ALL CHURCHES DONATE. The money is then sent to the DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION that is in EACH STATE in AMERICA who writes a check to the missionaries each month. That check has to last them the whole month. Missionaries have to BUDGET THEIR MONEY.

@mrpilot102 Missionaries= thieves. They put most of the money in their pocket. One big hustle. There is an Atheist group that sends people into the rain forest to run preachers out before they destroy another culture. I appreciate their movement. Missionaries have destroyed enough cultures.

Serve the whole person? Do you mean serve their food on a goddamn bible? You folks are pathetic! All you're really doing is ruining the culture of these people. You want to see who the really good people are? The one's that help others with no ulterior motive? They're called "ATHEIST!" When the last stone from the last church falls on the head of the last preacher, then we will have a wonderful world. All preachers would burn in hell, if there was one.
