We took a day from our Cancun vacation to visit Chichen Itza - one of the new 7 wonders. It's a long 3-hour drive each way from the hotel zone. It's a very large archaeologist site so there's a lot to see at Chichen Itza. On the return trip we stopped at Ik Kil cenote for a dip in the cool and refreshing underground water.
