I can't find rules faqs. The beasts say they attach to the summoner so if a summoner dies what happens to the beast? Do you lose 2 characters just because one dies? Same thing for the beast, can it be targeted by cards or is it now just part of the summoner?

Thanks for trying the game! There are some FAQs in the forums at peginc.com, but they aren't easy to find - sorry. Yes, both the beast and summoner are killed if the summoner dies. This helps balance the increased power of a summoner/beast combo - they are hard to take down, but when they are taken down, the player is usually in trouble for awhile. Beasts can't be targeted separately (that is actually mentioned in the rules).
